How to use

  1. STEP 01

    Choose mode, length and count

Keep Recommended if unsure. Defaults are 16 characters and 20 candidates, with an uppercase first character enabled.

  2. STEP 02

    Generate passwords

Create candidates with the selected rules. Recommended starts with uppercase and includes at least one symbol after the first character, plus lowercase letters and digits.

  3. STEP 03

    Click a candidate

Click to copy a password, then paste it at the destination. Tap a candidate on a phone.

  4. STEP 04

    Save all if needed

Copy all copies the whole batch. Save as text creates a file with one password per line.

This tool generates candidates only. It does not set or change passwords on other sites. Check the destination’s required length and allowed symbols.

Understanding settings

Recommended
Uses 16 characters with uppercase, lowercase, digits and symbols. Starts with uppercase and includes at least one symbol after the first character.
Make it longer
Uses 24 characters with uppercase, lowercase, digits and symbols. Keeps the current uppercase-first setting.
Custom
Choose characters and detailed rules. Length can be 2–64 characters. Changing an individual setting switches to Custom mode.
Always start with uppercase
Starts with a letter A–Z. Enabled by default. Disable this before excluding uppercase letters. Selecting Recommended again enables it.

Change allowed symbols

Open character and detailed settings

Enable Symbols and enter the half-width symbols to use, without separators. The default is $#&%! . For example, entering @? limits symbols to @ and ?.

Spaces, letters, numbers and full-width characters are invalid here. Enter at least one symbol when Symbols is enabled. Not every entered symbol appears in every password.

Include every selected character type
Includes at least one character from each selected type in every candidate. Four selected types require a length of at least four.
Exclude ambiguous characters
Excludes 0, O, o, 1, I, l and L. Enabled by default.
No repeated characters for lengths of eight or fewer
Prevents using the same character twice within a candidate of eight characters or fewer. This rule does not apply to lengths of nine or more.

Generation counts and display

Generate at least 20 at a time. Default maximum counts depend on the plan.

Candidates appear 20 at a time

Use Previous 20 and Next 20 for a large batch. The last page also shows 20, so some candidates may overlap with the previous page. Paging does not generate additional candidates.

Copying, saving and starting again

Click a candidate
Copies one candidate. With a keyboard, focus it and press Enter or Space.
Copy all
Copies the entire generated batch, not just the visible 20.
Save as text
passwords.txt saves the entire batch under this filename. One password per line, with no headings or numbers. Check the browser’s downloads after saving.
Clear results
Removes displayed candidates while keeping your settings.
Reset defaults
Restores initial settings and clears candidates. Allowed symbols also return to $#&%! .
Cancel generation
Use the cancellation button shown during generation to stop. Your selected settings remain.

Handling passwords

Generation runs in your browser. Generated passwords are not sent to or stored on a server. Copy or save required results before closing or reloading the page.

Clearing results or resetting does not erase copied clipboard contents or saved files. Saved files contain passwords in plain text; choose storage and sharing destinations carefully.

Frequently asked questions

Can I generate passwords without symbols?

Yes. Open character settings and disable Symbols. Selecting Recommended or Make it longer enables symbols again.

Can a password contain more than one symbol?

Yes. Recommended requires at least one symbol, not exactly one. Symbols are chosen from the allowed-symbol input.

Why do my settings prevent generation?

The length may be smaller than the number of selected types, or there may be too few unique characters for the no-repeat rule. Follow the guidance to adjust length, character types or repetition. Count must be at least 20 and within the displayed maximum.

What if clicking does not copy?

If automatic copying is blocked, a manual-copy field appears. Select and copy its contents, then paste at the destination.

Does saving include only the visible 20?

No. Copy all and Save as text include the entire generated batch. Overlap between display pages does not create duplicate saved entries.

Can I recover the same candidates after closing the page?

No generation history is stored. Copy or save candidates first. Generating again creates new candidates.
