How to use
STEP 01
Choose images
Use Select images or drag and drop. JPEG, PNG/APNG and WebP are supported.
STEP 02
Review the information
Open the metadata using Review information. Use the left and right buttons to switch images and check the additional information too.
STEP 03
Choose fields to change
Continue to editing and edit individually or in a batch. Fields set to Keep unchanged retain their original information. Check the selected images before applying batch edits.
STEP 04
Review and save
Review the changes, then save images individually or together in a ZIP file. Use the saved edited files when publishing or sending photos.

Editing versus removing information
Capture date and descriptions
Edit supported fields including capture date, time offset, description, photographer, copyright and comments. Not all displayed fields are editable.
Remove location information
Choose this to remove recorded location data such as latitude and longitude.
Remove device information
Options are available to remove camera names, lens names and serial numbers.
Remove all capture information
Removes metadata except information needed to display the image. Check the removal scope if you want to keep descriptions or copyright information.
Check location before sending a photo
Load the image and review its location fields. To send it without location metadata, select removal and send the saved output image.

Processing and data
Images and metadata are processed only in your browser and are not sent to or stored on a server. Keep the originals and save required results as separate files.

Frequently asked questions
Why is no information displayed?
The original image may have no metadata, or another app may have removed it. This tool does not infer or recover information that is missing.
Does image quality change?
This tool edits metadata; it does not correct or recompress image content. Cropping and resizing are not supported.
Can I use HEIC or GIF?
Supported inputs are JPEG, PNG/APNG and WebP. HEIC/HEIF, RAW, GIF and TIFF are excluded.
Does removing location information hide where a photo was taken?
Visible scenery, signs and other image content remain unchanged. Review the photo itself as well. Image count and size limits are displayed above the tool.
