Choose a format for only the columns you need.

Preview the source data in CSV or Excel (.xlsx), then select a format for each column. Supports 28 categories and 600 patterns, including dates, times, amounts, and phone numbers.

  1. Select a file
Processing on your computer is the default. Choose server processing when you need to reduce the load on your device.
  2. Preview the data and select column formats
Click a column heading and select a format from the standard list. Custom formats also support regular expressions and wildcards. Leave columns that do not need formatting unspecified.
  3. Review all rows, format the data, and save
Check the number of changes, format matches, and items requiring review before saving. Your source file is preserved.

No information is filled in automatically

Ambiguous values and values that cannot be formatted safely are left unchanged, with a reason shown. Formulas are not recalculated and cells are not edited directly. Explicitly select changes that affect meaning, such as changing a URL to HTTPS.

File Handling and Usage Limits

When processing on your computer, file contents are not sent to the server. For server processing, input, results, and temporary files are deleted no later than 30 minutes after storage begins. Actions and saving do not extend this deadline.

Limits appear at the top of the tool. The default Pro limits are 80 MB in total, 3,000,000 rows, and 16,384 columns. Administrators can change limits for each plan.
